On this Saturday February 14th, The Kingston Whig Standard published a story featuring Scott and Kirsty. Thanks to Mike Koreen for a well written article. Please visit the Whig by clicking HERE to read the article and see the comments from readers.
Happy Valentine's Day to all of you.
The dance and auction is at 8PM tonight. If you don't have tickets, don't let that stop you from coming and spend the evening with us. Tickets will be available at the door.
Please note that there is now a Fundraiser Blog. At the top of this page are three tabs labelled Main Page, Photoblog and Fundraiser.
On the Fundraiser blog, you will find info regarding, you got it, the fundraiser. This will allow me to post updates and requests regarding the event while leaving Scott's updates on top of the main page. Right now,you can have a sneak peek at some of the items available for the silent auction.
On an other topic, please note that Cheryl Mckinnon still has a lot of dishes from people who brought meals to the Milnes. They can be picked up from her office, at the Kingston Military Family Sport Centre.

I told you a while ago not to book anything for February 14th. Well here is why.
We are excited to announce The Milne Family Fundraiser Dance and Auction.

Don’t look any further for something to do with your loved one on Valentine’s Day. Come dance to the music of Stay Tuned, performing live. Bid on an item in the silent auction. It will hold some pretty amazing items. Come spend a great evening and raise some funds in support of Team Milne.
Between the great generosity we have seen from the sponsors and your valued presence, this will be an unforgettable evening.
Get your ticket either online from http://adv.queensu.ca/events/milnefamily or contact me. There are contact people who have tickets available to the hockey community, the Military, Kingston Fire Rescue, Queen’s University and more.
See you there!!!
Also, anyone who wishes to donate can go to the Scotia Bank at 168 Wellington(at the corner of Brock st). Tell the teller that you wish to make a deposit in the Scott Milne Family Account.

On behalf of Scott, Kirsty, and the boys, Fran & Craig Hamilton,(Kirsty's parents), Diane & myself,Norm Milne and Chris, Scott's brother, thank you so very very much for all the love, affection, and assistance pouring in for the family. I won't try to name all the people we have met and heard from, but feel I must thank Claude, for establishing and maintaining this web site, to keep you all informed on Scott's day to day progress. I would also like to thank the Military and all their military friends, the Kingston Fire department and all their firemen friends, the Kingston Hockey assn and all their hockey friends, Queens University and all Kirsy's work friends, and last but not least, the fantastic job being carried out by all the medical staff involved with Scott's care at KGH. If I have missed anyone, I sincerely appologize, but keep in mind that we appreciate all that is being done for Scott, Kirsty and the boys by all of you. Kirsty will be thanking you all when time permits.
The Family
Well this is the first entry in Scott's blog. This will be used to transmit updates to you. It will also be used to transmit all your thoughts, prayers and encouragements to Scott, Kirsty, Tanner, Kobe and Rhys.
For you to post something, just click on "Leave a comment", enter your name and e-mail address (it will not be seen on the site), then enter your comment. Your post will need to be approved in order to be posted, that is just the way a blog works.
I will also post here when there is a need for people to help Kirsty with something around the house or with the kids.
I am brand new at this, so expect things to change from time to time, but I will try my best to make you feel at home. Let's just say that I have the right people helping me.
